Tabarak Partners have structured a number of private equity funds in which investors have placed more than $150mn. These funds have done very well with IRR of more than 25%. The fund managers at times offer select investors private equity investment opportunities on a Co-Investment basis. The investors have the opportunity of testing individual investment opportunities without having to be part of a Limited Partnership arrangement in a Private equity fund.
On going Shariáh compliance and Fatwa
Our Shariáh supervisory board is comprised of eminent Shariáh scholars that have experience in topics related to Fiqh, Ijmah and Sunah. Tabarak completes all documentation and groundwork related to the products and projects in question.
The Shariáh supervisory board then convenes to discuss the Shariáh aspects.
Upon review, the Scholars issue their Fatwa that allows the policies to be termed in compliance with Shariáh .
During the life of the product, the Shariáh audits are conducted at regular intervals to ensure ongoing compliance with Shariáh .
This is to ensure the products that we choose to structure and make Shariáh compliant are of the highest caliber, in respect of performance track record, regulation, management and future returns
This service extends to providing a guide on likely costs involved in launching a Shariáh compliant product, including the cost of structuring, procuring a Fatwa and placing an appropriate Shariáh Board on the product.
